The Alinco DJ-MD5FXT supplied by Convergent Radio is configured as a commercial land mobile radio for use on licensed business radio systems. While radios carrying the DJ-MD5 name are also available for amateur (ham) radio use, the version we supply is intended exclusively for commercial applications.
